Here's the summary from the back cover:
I'm Trella. I'm a scrub. A nobody. One of thousands who work the lower levels, keeping Inside clean for the Uppers. I've got one friend, do my job and try to avoid the Pop Cops. So what if I occasionally use the pipes to sneak around the Upper levels? Not like it's all that dangerous - the only neck I risk is my own. Until I accidently start a rebellion and become the go-to girl to lead a revolution. I should have just said no...
INSIDE OUT is set for April 2010. I haven't read any of Maria V. Snyder's books yet, but I always hear great things about them, so I really can't wait!

Wow, that actually does sound good! I'm intrigued by this Harlequin Teen line, they do have some interesting sounding books in their lineup.
ReplyDeleteSounds great.
ReplyDeleteI can not wait for 2010 :(
I'm so excited HQ teen got Maria V. Snyder on their list. She's one of my favorite authors. I loved the Poison Study series (Valek is my number one crush at the moment).
ReplyDeleteI actually wonder what took it so long for a Harlequin teen line to appear?
ReplyDeleteMy Pick is up at The Burton Review

ReplyDeleteI can't wait for passages about crawling around in pipes!
ReplyDeleteHehe, this was almost going to be my WoW pick for this week. It sounds different than her previous books (I haven't read any of them either - shame on us), but the cover's alluring, and I'm always up for dystopian lit!
ReplyDeleteI never heard of this one, seriously you're so quick of spotting great upcoming books. Love the intense cover!

Saw the first line of this post and thought, 'you do love your dystopia fiction!' saw the author name and went ahhhhhh. Dystopian plus Maria V. Synder can equal nothing but good (I hope)
ReplyDeleteThis looks so promising! I love the premise...hopefully it lives up to the hype. Great choice!
ReplyDeleteoh yeah, i'd love to give this new dystopia a read. maybe you can do a trio discussion with this like you did with genesis?

Sounds interesting! Not liking that cover though, it belongs in the 90s in my opinion. :/
ReplyDeletehiddenplace - Also intrigued! Read an interview yesterday that they see their line as similiar to Razorbill or Flux and not necessarily romance.
ReplyDeleteJulie - I need to read those Poison Study books!
Sharon - FTW!
Steph Su - It's so worth a WoW
H - Yeah, just a dystopian fanatic ;)
ReplyDeletevvb - great idea!
alea - I am liking the retro 90s look actually. It looks very pipecleanerish hahaha.

ReplyDeleteSounds interesting. I'll definitly have to keep my eye out for it next year.
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed the three books Snyder books I've read, so I'm definitely going to wait for this one!
ReplyDeleteDystopian novels usually intrigue me. This one also kind of reminds me of the caste system.
ReplyDeleteOoh very neat! Somewhat reminds me of the early parts of Uglies by Scott Westerfeild.
ReplyDeleteHa, I'm happy. Harlequin Teen has a panel and gave free e-copies to members. =)
ReplyDeleteSooo glad I don't have to wait.
