Tuesday (101) = Picture of Emmy + Happy Birthday Daniel!

Emmy and Finn are frolicking on the balcony unattended now that we put up the cat netting. It was a complicated job, but Daniel triumphed in the end. It will be really nice in summer for us, because we can leave the balcony door open all day!

Today is Daniel's birthday, and of course I got him books.

He got:

DRAWN TO LIFE: 20 YEARS OF DISNEY MASTER CLASSES by Walt Stanchfield, both volumes 1 & 2

BIG WOLF & LITTLE WOLF by Nadine Brun-Cosme and Oliver Tallec

ADVENTURES IN CARTOONING written and illustrated by James Sturm, Alexis Frederick-Frost, and Andrew Arnold

If you want to wish him a happy birthday, stop by his drawing blog!

  6. As always, I love the kitty pictures. They are both lovely. And what a perfect lookout over the city!
Happy Birthday Daniel, I hope you like the cartooning book. We purchased it for our Curriculum Library and I think it is quite fun!

  7. My kids saw something like that on Animal Planet and have been begging for us to build a kitty enclosure. We don't really have a place that is convenient to do that though. I bet your kitties love being outdoors!

  8. Those kitties definitely look like they are conspiring to try something. Or maybe they saw a bird and couldn't quite get their paws out there to catch it! My cats actually sit and drool and squeak when the birds get close.

  20. Daniel should check out the documentary Waking Sleeping Beauty. It's all about Disney animation, focusing mainly on the artists. It's very good!
