Tuesday (105) = Picture of Emmy

Lately, the kittehs have been enjoying kitteh pile-ups - like this recent one on my lap while I'm working:

(that's Finn on the left and Emmy on the right)

What always happens is that Emmy will come cuddle with me and then Finn will lay on top of her. She allows it until he starts biting her, and then she snaps at him and runs away.

  1. They look so sweet in that picture.

  2. I love Emmy and Finn! I can't believe Emily lets Finn lie on top of her like that - if I have one cat on my lap and pet the other cat as it walks by the one on my lap gets all haughty and stalks off. This picture is so adorable! (I know, I know, I say that every week, but it always is!)

  4. That is gorgeous :) My kittehs used to pile in top of each other like that a lot when they were little, but now they usually get annoyed, since the one that's plonked itself on the other usually starts trying to groom the first, when all it wants to do is sleep.

  5. My kitties do not pile up, but there is the occassional cuddle session with snuggles and grooming. My younger cats would certainly have mauled my eldest when they were younger if she would have let them...I think Emmy is just super duper tolerant.

This morning I was complaining that i had the kitty version of a swarm of locusts. Everywhere I went while getting ready for work I had at least 1 cat following me and trying to get into whatever I was doing. Open the cupboard, in the cupboard, open the fridge, try to get in the fridge, try to move out of the way of the door to the fridge so that I could shut it...Oh wait! time for tummy rubs in front of the fridge. hahahahah
And don't even get me started about when I sit down!

  6. Kitteh pile cuteness! Luckily mine take a turn in my lap, they don't like each other that much to lie on top of each other.

  9. Do you need someone else telling you that these two are adorable? Okay, I'll do it! Love them!

  10. No pile-ups in my house. Only slightly threatening stalking kind of activity.

  12. I so miss kitty pileups on my lap! (Hard to do with only one cat now...) Your two are adorable, as usual!

  13. Could these cats be any cuter? I think not. I always want to reach through the computer and pat them. (or squeeze them in a big hug, but I know from experience that cats don't like this so I try to resist the urge)

  14. Can that leg in the foreground possibly be attached to a cat? It looks like it's just stuck in there! I love the between-toe hairs.

  16. My cats do that also, they like to lay next to each other trying to see who can lick faster and then after they have had enough its biting and then one of them usually walks away.
Amazing how they can cuddle so much of the time.

  17. V. cute.
What breed are they? They look like birmans...
Did they grow up together, because I'm surprised they like eachother so much!

  18. I wish my cats made kitty piles. But alas, I have one cuddly kitty and one not-so-cuddly kitty.
