Just in time for Dystopian August, I got an invite to be a tribute from district 10 for the official 13 District Mockingjay Tour!

As part of the tour, I'll be posting on a very exciting topic and hosting a contest for a fab Hunger Games series related prize on August 23rd - the day before Mockingjay releases and we can all finally find out what happens to Katniss and co.

WOW Lenore just WOW, I couldnt have picked someone who loved the books more to be a tribute. I dont agree on the whole Peeta thing though obviously. Team Gale baby, lets do this!! show em how its done Gale!

ReplyDeleteI'm so worried for Peeta! Part of me thinks that Gale is the more likely major-character-death, but this is Suzanne Collins, who killed Rue and possible Cinna (WOE!), so I'm not getting my hopes up for Peeta's survival. I am, however, stockpiling tissues.

ReplyDeletehaving the coolest Mockingjay party ever! It's called the Midnight
Uprising. The Tree in Oak Park, Il. is recreating Dist. 12, 13 and the
Capitol (little bits of each). There'll be munchies (watch for those
Avoxes), music, tattoos, trivia, fashion design competition and a reading
by Suzanne Collins (through the magic of the computer) from Mockingjay at
midnight. Everyone who preorders and pays for the book (with a discount
too) will receive a pass for the party. Winners of the writing and
illustrating contests will be announced that night too. And, on Sunday
Aug. 15 we're hosting Catching Fire, The Game. People are invited to
participate on a life-sized gameboard. This game was developed for us
