My favorite Sarah Dessen novel would have to be This Lullaby. It tells the tale of a smart, cynical girl who's outlook on love was formed from her mother's countless marriages and her own failed relationships. But when the boy who has all the qualities of a person not to date flings himself at her, can she resist? You add a loveless girl, a great set of girlfriends, a super cute lead singer, and a dog named Monkey, and you have This Lullaby.

My favorite Sarah Dessen book is The Truth About Forever. It is such a good love story but it also shows the secret world of romance. Not many people write about a love story like Jason and Macy's but I have had many friends get stuck in that kind of relationship and get really hurt and feel confused or even trapped. I just started reading again for the fifth time and cannot put it down. I have read all of her books but this one to me is my absolute favorite.

I really loved the book the Truth About Forever. I've read the book at least twelve times!! I love the cover changes to the books but it'd be cool if the Lock and Key cover was one of the key necklaces that go through some of tje other books, and if the cover of the Truth About Forever was the angelic sculpture Wes made with wings for Macy.

I love how she always brings the story full circle. She also writes great characters and makes me like guys I probably wouldn't in real life.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite book is also Just Listen, also because it is the only Sarah Dessen book I have read. I am currently reading Along for the Ride, but I'm hoping that I'll be able to read Lock and Key soon!

I love the new Sarah Dessen covers. The only book by her that I've read is Just Listen, but I've heard that it is a lot of people's favorite. I also love how all the new covers go together much better than the older ones. Not only is the spine similar, but so are the covers.
