  1. Ack!! Lenore, thank you for this post! I haven't been able to spend a lot of time with my blog feeder for the last few weeks, so I didn't even know this was going on! I have to check all this out now :)

    And...you read REQUIEM? *dies*

  4. I've not participated this year as I wanted a little break from dystopia, but I've still really enjoyed reading the reviews and discovering more upcoming books!

I can't wait to read Unwholly as Unwind is one of my favourites!

  5. I really love Dystopian August - and this year, your link-up posts, especially because of how hectic/annoying my month has been. It not only introduces me to new books, but also gives me a better idea on which of them I need to try to read first. And which of the books I already knew about need to get bumped up my TBR list!

Thanks for dedicating so much time to this again :-)

  10. <3 Honestly Lenore, I don't know which I love best ... Dystopian August or that freaking AWESOME chicken zombie badge?!? lol

Just in the past year I've discovered the wonderful, edgy, exciting world of dystopian fiction ... now it's my favorite genre.

I really appreciate all the work you've gone to putting this fun event together, and it's nice finding new authors/books :D

True story: I recently convinced my daughter that she needed to read The Hunger Games. No sooner had she finished reading the book, than she called me eager to read the next in the series lol

So, if I do happen to get lucky & win one of your sweet giveaways, I'll be sharing with her <3 :)

  13. I LOVE Dystopian novels so I was so excited to find your blog and see there was a whole month devoted to it!! I havn't read Unwind yet...I'm kind of waiting for the sequel so I don't have to deal with a cliff hanger for a couple weeks, but I've heard good things. I should be working on my thesis more often but these type of books beg my attention! Thanks for your recommendations!

  26. Congrats to all the winners! It looks like you are having a lot of fun with this month so far!

I always enjoy your Dystopian months. In February I talked it up on my blog. I am disappointed that August has been too overwhelming to get much done... I am catching-up right now!
