Daniel hijacked my blog to bring you the following daily drawing (which he did for Chris to encourage him to stay in bed instead of going to work - per his request).

Planet "Sleep"
We've been watching the BBC series Planet Earth that Daniel got from my dad and Sandy for christmas. We really love watching it - only we tend to fall asleep toward the middle of an episode. So the other day when Daniel mistakenly said "Let's watch Planet Sleep", I had to laugh!

Happy New Year
We spent New Year's Eve at Tracy and Marshall's with Weina, Dennis and Kirsten in tow. Also invited were Debra and her husband and Max.
We grilled steaks and all brought a side dish (mine was pasta salad) and some wine. Max, Marshall and Debra's husband rushed away to set up the fireworks at Max's and the rest of us dipped fruit into chocolate fondue.
Here's a pic of the fondue group:
Over at Max's we threw firecrackers off the balcony and shot off rockets. The air was full of smoke and driving home, the scene looked like one of world war three - explosions and trash everywhere and people running around at 3 am.

Contest/Privacy Policy
This policy concerns all contests run at Presenting Lenore.
Contests are open to residents of the geographical area stated in the specific contest post. Contests sponsored by me are often open internationally, but contests where the prizes are provided by authors or publishers may be limited to the US and Canada.
Entrants must follow all contest instructions or their entry or entries will be deleted.
I chose all winners via www.random.org
Entrants must be 13 years old or older and have a valid e-mail address where I can contact them. In the case of contests where I did not use a Google Form and ask for your mailing address, I will contact the winner via e-mail. Winners have 48 hrs to respond to my winner notification with a valid mailing address or risk forfeiting their prize.
A list of winners for contests may or may not be posted on Presenting Lenore, but you can write me at anytime to ask for names of winners.
Once a prize is sent out, I delete the e-mail with the mailing address. I do not save or collect any personal information provided for contest purposes on Presenting Lenore.
Please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery of your prize as many prizes are sent media mail which can be somewhat slow. If you have not received your prize within that timeframe, please contact me at lenoreva at hotmail dot com and I will look into it. Presenting Lenore cannot be held responsible for prizes lost in the mail or for failure of publishers, publicists or authors to provide prizes for contests they sponsor here on the blog.
