Here is some information on the 5 ARC books you'll win:
Peace, Locomotion by Jacqueline Woodson (Coming in Jan. 2009) Twelve-year-old Lonnie is finally feeling at home with his foster family. But because he’s living apart from his little sister, Lili, he decides it’s his job to be the “rememberer”—and write down everything that happens while they’re growing up. Lonnie’s musings are bittersweet; he’s happy that he and Lili have new families, but though his new family brings him joy, it also brings new worries. With a foster brother in the army, concepts like Peace have new meaning for Lonnie.
Told through letters from Lonnie to Lili, this thought provoking book tackles important issues in captivating, lyrical language. Lonnie’s refl ections on family, loss, love and peace will strike a note with readers of all ages.

Wintergirls by Laurie Halse Anderson (Coming in March 2009) Lia and Cassie are best friends, wintergirls frozen in matchstick bodies, competitors in a deadly contest to see who can be the skinniest. But what comes after size zero and size double-zero? When Cassie succumbs to the demons within, Lia feels she is being haunted by her friend’s restless spirit.
In her most emotionally wrenching, lyrically written book since the multiple-award-winning Speak, Laurie Halse Anderson explores Lia’s descent into the powerful vortex of anorexia, and her painful path toward recovery.

Because I am Furniture by Thalia Chaltas (Coming in April 2009) Anke’s father is abusive. But not to her. He attacks her brother and sister, but she’s just an invisible witness in a house of horrors, on the brink of disappearing altogether. Until she makes the volleyball team at school. At first just being exhausted after practice feels good, but as Anke becomes part of the team, her confidence builds. When she learns to yell “Mine!” to call a ball, she finds a voice she didn’t know existed. For the first time, Anke is seen and heard. Soon, she’s imagining a day that her voice will be loud enough to rescue everyone at home—including herself.

Simon Bloom: The Octopus Effect by Michael Reisman (Coming in June 2009) In Simon Bloom, The Gravity Keeper, Simon Bloom and his friends used the Book of Physics to narrowly defeat villainess Sirabetta. Now Simon’s nemesis, stuck as a helpless thirteen-year-old, wants revenge.
In this exciting sequel, Simon and company must enter the mysterious undersea realm of the Order of Biology to fi nd Sirabetta before she can restore her powers. Aided by old allies and some new ones, the kids struggle with fierce beasts, dangerous enemies, and their own evolving abilities.

Lipstick Apology by Jennifer Jabaley (Coming in Aug. 2009) When Emily Carson’s parents die in a plane crash, she’s left with nothing but her mother’s last words scrawled in lipstick on a tray table: “Emily, please forgive me.”

With the help of some surprising new friends, Emily must choose between the boy who helps her forget and the one who encourages her to remember, and ultimately heal.
Debut author Jennifer Jabaley has written a wonderful, feel-good romantic comedy with real emotional depth. Full of lovably wacky characters, Lipstick Apology is a heartwarming story about the true meaning of forgiveness.

So what do you have to do to enter?
For 1 entry, tell me in the comments what site(s) or blog(s) you visit online to find out about upcoming book releases. I always love to hear about what books are coming out in the future, both for my Waiting on Wednesday posts and my wishlist!
For 1 extra entry, post a link to this contest on your blog or social networking page (sidebar is fine) and leave a separate comment* to tell me you've done so.
For 1 extra entry, become a Presenting Lenore follower and leave a separate comment* telling me you've done so (or that you are one already).
(*the separate comments make it easier for me to pick a winner!)
Deadline for entry is Sunday, Feb 8th at 9 pm CST. Open to US and Canadian residents only (sorry international readers, but those are the publisher's rules. I'll be having a contest open internationally soon!)
Enter yourself and tell your friends! If response is good, I'll be able to host even more of these in the future.

I don't really have a particular site I visit to find out about upcoming books, just reading the blogs and newspapers gives me a good idea when the big titles have arrived. I rarely read a book when it first comes out anyway, I like to hear some feedback on it first.
Great Contest!
I also follow you!
I visit teenreads.com or teensreadtoo.com for upcoming book releases.
Like a lot of people here, I use TeenReadToo. Good stuff there.

Also I've posted about this contest on my sidebar.
I always look at blogs like Reviewer X, The Story Siren, yours, Hope's Bookshelf, etc.
Also, I try to find the debut authors of the year's website. And the Teens Read Too website has such a great list every month in their Cool New Books section. My local library also uses this website called WOWbrary which emails me about once a week letting me see what new items they are getting. It also has descriptions of the items and will let me place holds on them.

To find out about new books I just stalk a gazillion books blogs. And I stalk author blogs. And then when they post about their author friends I go and stalk their author friend's blog.
I'm just a creepy stalker.
And I just became a follower. People seem to like when people publicly follow them, so I think I'll start doing that now. And you, Lenore, and the first one I will publicly follow. Yay.
I like Reviewer X and Fantasy Book Critique for my book news. I also try to keep up and list them on my own site. :)
I am ALSO a follower of your blog! :)
Hello and thank you for this opportunity. I generally check out blogs like Karin Book Nook, Reviewer X and Story Siren. They have really good reviews and from them I will check out other blogs that are listed on their sidebars.
I will also go to Amazon to further inspect books and will also check out an authors website/blog to find out more.
One of the best ways to find out about up and coming books is from talking to the book staff at your local bookstore, especially the independent book stores, like Kepler's. I love them, and one of their employee's has been very kind and generous with her time and ARC's. They also have a great blog called the BookBind, found on the Kepler's website.
I have also became a follower :)
Sorry...I had to ammend my post. I wanted to let you know that I also posted this on my blog on the side bar and I made a cute little tag for it.

For new releases...I generally just wander the stacks at the library and the bookstores, and I check the blogs I have linked at my blog. I'm pretty laid back when it comes to finding brand-new stuff, since there's so much OLD stuff out there I haven't read yet! Ack!
I'll link to you from my blog (that's how I visit all the blogs I read!). What a great giveaway, YA books are the best. :)
I don't have any one site. I just find out through all the different book blogs I visit and author websites.
Thanks! :0)
I just added your blog to my Google Reader. :0)
I find out what new books are coming out through fan related message boards and amazon.com. My tastes are pretty particular. I also do a lot of word of mouth communicating with my old professors since I read mostly historical nonfiction.

Hey, Lenore! Great contest!
I get a lot of the books on my TBR list from Goodreads ... probably because I'm also "friends" with a lot of the awesome book bloggers. So I see the books show up on Goodreads before they actually blog about them. But book blogs are also a great place to find new books to read!
Oh, and I'm a follower as well ... I just don't know if it's a public following or not. You are definitely on my google reader! ;)
